The bank clerks husband and fellow concluded it was a loathsome depression. Her husband and she move out to a rather rum house, so she can come apart herself. She isnt aloud to do all kind of scarper and is given strict book of instructions to hasten passing play breeze and relax her self. She spends most of her time in a path that she suspects to be an old play room for the away owners children. The room is c all overed with xanthous wallpaper which taunts her with images and patterns that she sees. She is mesmerized by the images and they consume her. She loses her touch with universe and becomes one of the creeping women she sees. The bank clerks tomography pushes her over the edge into insanity. Her trim backward spiral is shown by chic kenhearted wallpaper. The storyteller first describes the wallpaper as, lame diffident curves for a itty-bitty distance they suddenly commit suicide--plunge off at usurious angles, destroy themselves in unheard of contradictions, (Gilman). Deep down the teller knows that she does not have a temporary unquiet depression. She is uncertain in all her actions. Her husband wants her not to do any kind of work. He wants her to take in air and breathe until she is well. The storyteller does not like to sit close to and wants to do some sort of congenial work, like writing. She is interdict to write, that does so anyways because she seems to find it almost therapeutic. The uncertainty of her actions shows how she is losing touch with reality. The narrator later explains the yellow wall paper with an image of soulfulness with a broken neck and bulbous eyes. This is a sign that her imagination is starting to take over her thoughts.
